The Pocket DVD/CD-RW combo drive from Addonics Technology combines the functions of two popular optical drives, DVD-ROM and a fast CD-RW, into one device. With this device, you can play DVD movies or audio music, make your own music CD, make back-up copy of your software, or archive your data onto removable CD media. This combo drive offers speeds ranging up to 8X writing, 8X re-writing, 24X CD reading, and 8X DVD reading. It has a high capacity buffer memory of 2 MB and comes with a USB 2.0 interface cable. This lightweight, portable drive has a convenient see through window on the top cover that allows you to view the presence of disc inside. Along with Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me and XP, it also supports Solaris 8 4/01 or later release, Mac OS 9.0 and higher and Linux kernel 2.4 and higher.
