How to recompile & run a C# program on MS Visual C# 2005?

I am new to C# programming. I wrote some simple programs that were Compiled and ran earlier on MS Visual C# 2005. Everything was fine and I got the good output. I then closed the application and when I came back and attempted to rerun and/or Recompile them, I cannot do so. The DEBUG tag does not have compiling active this time either. I tried to look up on help from MS C#, but got nothing on this. Please suggest. Thank you.

When you reopen your program make sure that you have opened the project file using visual studio and not just the .cs file because without the project file you will not be able to compile or run your project
